We will refurbish and/or modify your Atari Lynx model 2 console quickly and professionally.

If you want your Lynx model 2 refurbished or modified with the mod kits and upgrades from our store, but can't or don't want to do it yourself, we will do it for you. We've provided this service to many customers already and will be happy to do it for you too!
Note that you need to buy all of the mod kits in addition to this service, the service only covers the labour costs involved.
The two options available will cover the following modifications:
Refurbishment
- Capacitor replacement
- Power circuit replacement
- Basic clean and wipe of the console
Refurb and Screen Install
- Everything from the Refurbishment option
- Ultrasonic deep clean of the console
- BennVenn screen installation
- Replacement speaker installation
If you want other mods or kits fitted to your Lynx model 2, please contact us first before ordering as the price may be different, depending on what you want done.
We've done USB 5V power, VGA output, NiMh battery charge mods, SMS and SNES external consolers in the past, so no job is too small or big.
If you want to keep all of the original parts and components we remove from your Lynx, please let us know when placing your order, in the notes section. We will assume that you would like your old components disposed of safely otherwise.
The way this service works is:
- You place your order along with the mod service and all of the parts/kits you want fitted
- You securely package and post your console to us, in a box (please use a tracked and/or insured shipping option)
- We will upgrade your console
- Your console will be sent back, insured (return shipping and insurance is factored into the cost)
- If you have any issues with your console when it's back with you, we will resolve them at our cost
Package Contents
- This is a service we offer. Please package your console securely with lots of padding and send it to us (workshop address will be provided after you place your order) or ship to our parcel locker (address at the bottom of the page). Make sure you send your console in a box, a padded envelop is not suitable.

Another awesome job
K-Retro installed a BenVenn screen, speaker mod and replaced the lens glass on my Lynx II as i have said in previous reviews this guy is my preferred modder.
Refurb, recap, power upgrade & upgraded speaker

Screen, caps, power and batteries installed
I had K-Retro install this Mod for me, works great, and it took about 5 days from me sending my Lynx to it being returned in full glory..
I also had them install new caps and power..
So I now have a spanking better-than-new Lynx 2
A full re-cap, power circuit and speaker upgrade done to perfect
I sent both of my Lynx 2's to Igor for the full works after I put new BennVenn screens in both consoles and I thought "in for a penny, in for a pound"! Igor kept in constant contact throughout the works and even did some trouble shooting work without charge. The delivery back to the UK was quick and I'd highly recommend K-Retro to anyone who needs this type of work done on their retro consoles.
