This kit allows you to attach a SNES controller to your Atari Lynx and play games from a distance using that controller.

You will need to cut out a small hole in the bottom side of your Lynx to fit the magnetic connector, but don't worry it sits almost flush with the case and blends in very well when not in use.

The decoder board lets you tap into your Lynx's motherboard's button signals, which are activated by the SNES controller.
