Please read before purchasing: This is a reproduction replacement screen lens for the Atari Lynx Model 2. It is injection-molded from PMMA (acrylic) and UV-painted, based on the original lens design and colours. While designed to be as accurate as possible, it is not an original Atari part. There may be small differences compared to the original lens.

The PMMA version is the 2025 updated version, with more scratch resistance (not scratch proof), but as a result is more stiff. Do not try to bend this lens as that may cause cracking. When fitting to your console, you may need to use a scalpel/blade to shave lock-in notches to make it fit better.

The finishing on the painted areas on the lens has a slight texture to it, it's not smooth like the original, however this texture better matches the look and feel of the rest of the Lynx console. There may be areas that have slightly more and areas with slightly less texture, this is part of the UV printing process and is expected, any lenses that have major defects are sold separately as a factory seconds product (see link below).

Their 'Atari' logo is not shiny like on the original but is see-through. You can place reflective tape on the back to create a look similar to the original.

Note: you will need to disassemble your Lynx to replace the lens.

WANT IT CHEAPER? We have a number of factory seconds lenses that didn't pass our quality inspections. The imperfections on those are minor but we can't sell them at full price. Check out the factory seconds lens here.

Note: The tabs on the sides should be cut off for easier fitting on the PMMA version of the lens. Since PMMA is much more stiff, pushing the lens on with force may damage the Lynx's front shell.
