This is my second ElCheapo Lynx cart. The first one was one of the very first b batches produced with a multi colored shell. Still works just fine. 8 characters per line. This second one, just received, looks very professional however my attempts to actually get it working have failed completely. Main screen with a flashing CONFIG FILE? renders the card useless. Followed all install instructions to no avail.
Shipping to the U.S. was faster than expected and well tracked. Cart arrived in great shape. Setup was very easy, and I was playing games in about 5 minutes. Make sure you have a decent SD card. I had a 2GB card that was an unbranded knock off that came with another flash cart. It wouldn't work at all. I swapped over to a 128GB local computer store brand, really just a relabeled PNY card, I believe. Works very well even though it's a bit of space overkill. I'll pick up a smaller on elater. Cart boots quickly. Menu system is easy to read and navigate. Games load in just a few seconds. I played an officially released game and a homebrew prototype so far. Both worked without issue.
