The original Atari Lynx model 2, modded with a modern BennVenn LCD TFT screen, new speaker, recapped and power circuit replaced.
Re-live your childhood memories, on a refurbished Atari Lynx console. You won't have to struggle to twist and rotate it to see the screen as it has a new, modern, LCD TFT screen fitted from BennVenn. This console is in a great condition but has the usual scratches on the screen lens (see photo with yellow arrows). We buffed out the smaller scratches but some deeper ones are still there, once the console is on and a game is playing, you won't notice them.
Here a list of of features and modifications:
- PAG-0401 model Atari Lynx 2.
- BennVenn TFT LCD (Rev6b) fitted and aligned.
- Power circuit (MOSFTET and zener) has been replaced with modern parts.
- Capacitors have been replaced with modern parts.
- New speaker for louder and clearer sound (Speaker-X from our store).
- Screen lens polished.
- Console case and buttons cleaned with an ultrasonic cleaner to remove grime and dust.
Note: The clear screen lens has minor scratches as is usual for Lynxes. It's been polished to remove the smaller scratches but some deeper ones remain (refer to photos). Once a game is running, these scratches are not noticeable.
Pair it together with an ElCheapoSD cartridge for all your Lynx ROM and home-brew needs!

New screen breathes new life into old tech... and an old fan
Hey Igor, I'll try to keep this short... but I probably won't.
I've had the same Lynx 2 since about 1991. I've played it on a pretty regular basis for this long. About a year ago the screen started acting up so I decided to either get a Benn Venn and fix it myself or try to find a reasonably priced pre-mod. Needless to say, it's almost impossible to find anything "reasonably" priced these days so I decided to wait for a Benn Venn screen... then I randomly came across the K Retro site. Fast forward to now, where I'm absolutely shocked by how amazing this screen looks on this Lynx. After so many years of seeing it look a certain way, and the last few years, seeing it on the decline, seeing this level of quality is mind blowing. I've already spent many hours enjoying my old games and really appreciating them on a whole new level. The screen has breathed new life into an old system and I truly appreciate it. Thanks so much for offering this system at such a fair price. The quality of this Lynx is awesome. I don't mind at all that it has a few tiny bumps and bruises. It just means it has history and makes it so im not so worried about using it. So anyway, yes, im enjoying the hell out of it. You guys made an old fan very happy. I'll be back for more games and gear soon. And thank you again for such excellent customer service and communication. You guys really do excel at what you do!
